Former Muslim and now apostate Rifqa Bary will be turning 18-years old on Tuesday. She is presently in foster care in Columbus, Ohio, and is seeking political asylum in the United States. She and her parents are here illegally, and Rifqa fears she will be sent back to her native Sri Lanka where her father will either kill her in an honor killing for converting to Christianity or put her in some kind of asylum as punishment for leaving the Islamic faith.
The poor girl has been through quite an ordeal, and she is suffering with uterine cancer on top of all her other troubles. Please continue to hold her up in prayer.

"Excellent news ................. in five days she turns 18 and the door would close on juvenile status.
Judge opens path for Rifqa Bary to stay in U.S. Columbus Dispatch
'A ruling by a Franklin County Juvenile Court magistrate this afternoon will allow Rifqa Bary to apply for an immigration status that her attorneys hope will keep her in the U.S. after her 18th birthday on Tuesday.
Magistrate Mary Goodrich ruled that reunification between Rifqa and her parents is not viable by Tuesday and that it is not in Rifqa's best interest to be returned to her native Sri Lanka at this time.
Rifqa's attorneys had filed a motion saying those findings were necessary for her to apply for an immigrant juvenile status that would allow her to apply for a green card to stay in the country. The special status provides a potential path to citizenship for children separated from their parents.'"
If you doubt that honor killings really occur, go here, and yes, they do take place in the United States as well as Muslim nations.
For more on honor killings, tune in to Fox News tonight at 10 p.m. as a special segment will be aired on the topic.
