Change!… 43% Now Strongly Disapprove of Obama – Same As Bush When He Left Office
"How’s that Hopey-Changey stuff treating you?
The Volokh Conspiracy breaks down the latest polling data:
'When George Bush left office he was deeply unpopular: in Bush’s last month, according to Rasmussen 43% strongly disapproved of the job Bush was doing, while only 13% strongly approved, for a staggering negative rating of –30%. Rasmussen’s Thursday release shows that after 14 months in office President Barack Obama has achieved Bush’s 43% of the people strongly disapproving of his performance, but Obama is still 10% ahead of Bush in those who strongly approve (23% v. 13% for Bush)…
…Imagine how unpopular Obama would be if the press and the late night comedians (who are at least as important as the press) treated Obama as they treated Bush.'
Imagine how unpopular Obama would be if the state-run media would just report the truth:

Awwww....
Looks like all the lying and fear-mongering from the rightwingnut cult is all for naught.
Healthcare reform is going to pass the House, thank God.
Don't thank God, Diogenes. God is not behind funding the murder of more unborn babies, and he doesn't think much of rationing healthcare for the sick elderly, not to mention all the other garbage in this bill. This is of Obama's mentor, the devil.
Your abortion argument is pure unadulterated nonsense, Ms. ML. Passage of healthcare reform will have no effect whatsoever on the funding of abortions, which is not permitted under the Hyde Amendment. The abortion argument is just another lie foisted on the American public by the Religious Righwingnut community, to try to derail healthcare.
Although, for the life of me, I cannot understand how supposed "Christians" like yourself can be so decidedly un-Christian in their attitude towards the unfortunates in our society who cannot obtain health insurance coverage. This IS Christian and I do thank God fr its passage.... just not the false rightwingnut version of "God" that you proffer.
Funny thing, polls...
Funny how the rightwingnut blogosphere always talks about the Rasmussen polls...
I wonder if there's a reason?
Hmmmm....
Let's look around at some other polls.
Rasmussen now says 43% approve of Obama while 56% disapprove, for a -13 rating. Not great for Obama.
But Gallup (the oldest and most respected pollster) says 47% approve, 47% disapprove. A wash.
Faux Noise? They say 46% disapprove, 43% approve, for a -3 rating. FAUX NOISE says that!
Wall Street Journal/NBC says 48% approve, 47% disapprove, a +1 rating.
Pew Research says 46% approve, 43% disapprove, a +3 rating.
Associated Press/GfK says 53% arrpove, 46% disapprove, a +7 rating.
In other words, Ms. ML, you're cherry-picking, yet again. Find the ONE poll that slams Obama, and cite it as the only definitive source of information.
Please don't blame me and dellete my comment, Ms. ML. I'm just "Exposing Your Rightwingnut Lies."
Well, let's see today's polls....
Rasmussen was -13, Today, it's -9.
Gallup was even. Today, it's +7.
Faux Noise was -3. Today, it's -2.
WSJ/NBC was, and still is, +1.
Pew Research was, and still is, +3.
The really important thing is that we have a President who doesn't govern based upon his popularity polls. He does what's right.
Maybe some rightwingnuts could get a clue.
Two more points off Rasmussen today. Only -6.
See how silly daily poll watching can get? Does it really tell you anything importnat? Or even semi-important?
Uh oh... looking worse for your almighty poll numbers, Ms. ML:
Ramussen = -4.
Everybody else, same as before.
CBS News = +8.
