Good news out of Columbus, Ohio. The judge has not sent apostate Rifqa Bary back to her devout Muslim parents for whom she fears will harm her for converting to Christianity.
The ruling for her dependency will take place on January 19th. If I remember correctly, Rifqa will turn 18 in July. So she has seven more months as a minor. Please keep praying for this brave girl whose life is on the line for enraging the Muslim community for exposing the death penalty imposed on apostates under Sharia law.
The judge has determined that Rifqa may receive the hundreds of Christmas cards and letters of encouragement from Christians who have rallied around her in her time of need. It's outlandish to even think that in America an individual would not be permitted to receive mail. Also, Rifqa will not be forced to meet alone with her parents, at least for now.
